STATEMENT
In this series of photographs my inspiration was the spirit of Flora, a Roman goddess of flowers, renewal and rebirth.
A few years ago, I felt a loss of inspiration and directions and searched for a pathway that would inspire my work. After many months of exploring different paths, I rediscovered the beauty found in nature’s flora.
This new series looks at shape, texture and color found in nature. The spirit of discovery and searching for an elusive life-force drove me to continue this journey and to work with photography’s ability to record and interpret a spiritual connection with nature.
