STATEMENT
I think of myself as a generic artist. I have worked in a multitude of art and craft forms. Most frequently I draw. I draw much the same way that I write: on whatever paper I find, using a commercial ink pen, often without editing. I work on the fly – sometimes literally. The colored pencil is best suited for this portable, quick approach. When life is at a quieter pace, I have the time for brushes and other media. I draw whatever is around me and what affects me. Objects, beings, landscapes in and around the home, thoughts, dreams, memories, and sometimes inspirations from other artists.
