Dear Artist,

We are pleased to invite you to apply for membership in Ceres, a non-profit alternative cultural center dedicated to promoting women in the arts. The gallery consists of two exhibition spaces: a main gallery for Full and National Full Members and an adjoining gallery for Affiliate and National Affiliate Members. The privileges and obligations of each membership category are outlined in this document.


FRIENDS EXPO 2024 

JULY 16 – AUGUST 10, 2024

Participate in the Annual Friends’ Expo at Ceres Gallery

This exhibition is a thank you to ARTIST FRIENDS from Ceres members for a donation of $200. As an ARTIST FRIEND, you will be invited to exhibit a wall piece or sculpture (size limitation) plus a small bonus art work.

 If you would like to participate in the Annual Friends’ Expo, please send Ceres your donation of $200 and a completed donation form and become an ARTIST FRIEND. The Friends’ Exhibition is not juried. Ceres is a not-for-profit gallery and your donation will help us continue providing a forum for the enrichment and growth of artists.

Your name will appear on the Friends’ List on the Ceres website http://www.ceresgallery.org (click on Be A Friend) and be in Ceres’ Registry Book  with your Artist Statement and your resume.

Opening Reception: Thurs., July 18, 6:00-8:00pm
Entry Deadline June 7, 2023 to be on the card

Exposure 2024

Ceres Gallery presents 10 simultaneous exhibitions each week for 4 weeks with space available for both two and three-dimensional work. Each artist will be able to fully avail themselves of approximately 12-17 running feet of wall space (depending on which wall they are assigned) with 10+ foot ceilings OR approximately 80-100 sq.ft. of floor space. Each week will consist of 1 artist with work on stands/floor and 9 artists each with work on one of nine pre-designated wall spaces.

Four one-week exhibitions beginning Tues, Nov 262024
